join THE CREW
We're on the lookout for future Spectrum WireWorks electricians, whether you're a seasoned tradesman ready to share your skills, or fresh to the electrical industry and avid to learn. Expect to troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial settings, upgrade electrical services, replace electrical panels, spend quality time in attics and crawlspaces, and re-wire homes and businesses. New employees learn hands-on under senior electricians with decades of experience and have access to formal training programs designed to develop your career.
As a small business, we aim to cultivate long-term relationships with our team —so we're not always hiring, but out inbox is open for resumes. Send yours over, along with your availability, and whether you're looking for immediate employment or an opportunity in the future. Paydays are weekly with direct deposit.
Full-time employees have access to benefits including:
Insurance
Additional Compensation
NEFBA Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program
Grow your skills and career with a four-year hybrid on-the-job and classroom (2 nights/week) education with the Northeast Florida Builder's Association (NEFBA). Earn while you learn, and lock in guaranteed 10% annual pay raises with each year of your apprenticeship. Your tuition is paid by the company.

If you meet the following requirements, we'd love to hear from you:
High school diploma, GED, or significant electrical/trades experience
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (must be insurable under company policy)
Able to pass background check
Reliable transportation to and from our shop near Murray Hill
Own basic hand tools (or able to obtain upon employment)
Able to work between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday (actual hours will vary slightly, with occasional overtime)

These are a must for all Spectrum electrical staff:
Positive attitude and effective communication skills, including the ability to interact with clients professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Willing to take direction, accept constructive feedback, and own your mistakes.
Physically able to squat, kneel, crawl, climb, balance, perform repetitive movements of the hands and arms, and operate hand and power tools for long periods. Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments in mild, cold, and hot weather, often in dimly or brightly-lit, dusty or damp conditions.
Send us your resume – nothing fancy required. Include your previous relevant job experience with date ranges of employment, best contact info, references if available, and any transferable skills or certifications (e.g. mechanical aptitude, machinery operation skills, construction experience, truck/trailer driving, plumbing, welding; forklift certified? Doesn't hurt!).
If you were sent our way by someone we know, be sure to mention it in your message.
